| Portfolios are growing in popularity as an
assessment tools for student achievement, we have numerous departments
who already incorporate some type of portfolio creation as a student
requirement. Portfolios can be an excellent way to observe and measure
Student Learning Outcomes, particularly at the program level. The following are links to information and resources if you would like to use portfolio development as an assessment tool. Some are specific to electronic or e-portfolios, some focus on traditional hard copy. Some examples are from portfolios being used at Columbia College, others are models of how other colleges use them. Rubric for Electronic Portfolio - Adaptable for any industry or specialty area. |
