Early Alert for Students
Students,
Early Alert is a service that is provided to you by Columbia College to help you be successful in your classes. If you are having difficulties in your classes, you may receive an Early Alert notice from your instructor through your student e-mail. Please read this e-mail! In an Early Alert, the instructor identifies areas that need improvement, and you will be referred to helpful resources. It is important to take action as soon as possible. Your first step will be to contact the instructor for more detailed information. Then meet with a college counselor to help you develop strategies for improvement. Get assistance from other resources such as the Academic Achievement Center. Columbia College is committed to helping you to be a successful student. Early Alert is here to help you.
