Guide 100: College Survival                                                          3 units 
Lecture:  3 hours 
This course is designed for the student who is re-entering college.  Personal, educational and career goals are explored in the context of aptitudes, understanding and values.  Students will learn study techniques, memory skills, note taking, stress management and time management skills.  They will discover their learning styles and develop an educational plan.  This class is conducted in an informal setting with other student of similar abilities.  Students will need to complete a conference with a counselor during the semester.  (MJC STSK 78)
