Attending:  Gary Mendenhall, Brian DeMoss, Brian Greene, Ida Ponder, Melissa Colon, Marnie Shively, Wendy Link, SusanVegter-Slape

 

Absent:  ASCCC President, Connie Mical, Nathan Rien, Robert Gritz, Craig Johnston, Donald Smith, Karin Rodts, Kelley (KC) Marshall; Mike Torok

 

 

  1. Standing Reports:

a.       Web Focus Group – Brian DeMoss

·         Brian D. is in the process of preparing a document and designing a website for information purposes.  These both speak about the new web page, how faculty sites will be constructed, etc.  The document will be sent by the President to faculty and staff soon. 

·         Once trainers have been trained, faculty training will take place.   

 

b.       Distance Education Committee – Melissa Colon

·         Melissa reported ongoing revision of distance education procedures involving classes, instruction and cohort training.

·         Distance Education Plan will be revised and updated as appropriate.

 

c.        Title III -  Brian DeMoss

·         Connie Mical and Beccie Michael are preparing the Title III mid-term report.

·         Equipment for smart classrooms will be ordered soon.

·         Interviews have been scheduled for Online Services Developer on April 20.  

 

d.        I.T. – Brian DeMoss

·         By committee request, IronPort was summarized and reviewed briefly. 

·         Brian D. will follow up on student email notification being placed on homepage.
